DESCRIPTION:Time: 12:00 PM – 3:00 PM\n\nPrinceton is chock-full of talente
 d home cooks and impressive professional chefs. The fan-favorite annual C
 ommunity Chili Cook-Off\, hosted by the Arts Council and the Historical S
 ociety of Princeton\, puts their skills to the test. Join us at the beaut
 iful Updike Farmstead on Quaker Road for a good old-fashioned cook-off. O
 ur contestants will serve up tasty samples all afternoon — try them all a
 nd cast a vote for your favorite. At 2:30pm\, we’ll present the coveted a
 wards. Make a day of it: there will be 15+ different chilis to try\, but 
 you’re invited to round out your lunch with a picnic (no alcohol\, please
 !) Participating Pros for our 2026 Cook-Off include Mediterra\, Jammin’ C
 repes\, Yankee Doodle Tap Room\, Chef Tom Wu\, and Wood Craft Catering. T
 reat yourself to our lemonade stand or a deliciously crisp brew from Triu
 mph Brewery\, with a portion of proceeds benefiting ACP + HSP. Live blueg
 rass music by Sourland Mountain String Band and lawn games will complete 
 this festive fall day on the farm. So\, who will be named Princeton Chili
  Champion?! You’ll be the judge of that. \n\nWAITLIST\n\nWe are officiall

 ad\, Princeton\, NJ 08540. We’re just minutes from downtown Princeton!\n\
 nUpon arriving to the Farmstead\, you will see volunteers guiding you to 
 available parking. Proceed then to the entrance of a barn — you’ll see AC
 P + HSP staff at the check in table.\n\nPro-tip for locals: avoid parking
  all together and take advantage of bike paths along the canal towpath.\n
 \nWhat do I need to know to participate as a contestant?\n\nParticipant r
 egistration has ended. Did you miss your chance to sign up? Email Melissa
  to add yourself to the waitlist. We draw from the list as needed!\n\nWha
 t should I bring as an attendee?\n\nWhile you don’t need to bring anythin
 g\, you may choose to make the most of the day by bringing along picnic b
 lankets or lawn chairs for your comfort. You may bring additional snacks 
 to enjoy alongside your chili\, but please refrain from any alcoholic bev
 erages. Triumph beer and lemonade will be available for sale. Water will 
 be available to fill your reusable bottles.\n\nWe welcome you to bring al
 ong lawn chairs and/or picnic blankets for your comfort while you enjoy t
 he music. Pack your family’s favorite card game or a book — enjoy the day

 gistered and check in with staff at the door. You do not need to bring a 
 physical ticket — your name will be on the list at the door. \n\nKindly n

 ) that our cheftestants roll with a fan club\,  family members and friend
