Bring garments that no longer serve you\, and the fashion fates will guide you to new-to-you pieces des tined to be yours.\n\nWe all have a piece of nice clothing that just didn ’t work out for whatever reason. It might not fit your size\, your life\, or maybe your style has just evolved. Whatever the reason\, special clot hes don’t have to be stuffed in the back of the closet or wind up in a la ndfill. Why not swap them for something new and see if your piece could b ecome someone else’s wardrobe staple?\n\nIn addition to swapping\, you ca n expect:\n• Learn Stylebook’s tips and tricks for maximizing your wardro be and finding your unique style at their style expert station.\n• A Mend ing Table where a seamstress can suggest quick and clever fixes to holes\ , snags\, hemming tips\, etc\, to keep your clothes out of the landfill.\ n• And other soon to be announced activities!\n\nHOW TO PARTICIPATE:\n\nI t’s a one-for-one swap: for each piece of clothing you bring\, you can ta ke one home! The swap is first-come\, first-served: the earlier you arriv e\, the more there will be to choose from!\n\nPlease drop off clothing an d accessories between 11-11:45am. You will check-in your items and receiv e one ticket per item to swap. For example\, if you bring three articles of clothing\, you’ll receive three tickets to trade for three “new-to-you ” items. You can bring up to 10 items! Please bring them on a hanger if p ossible.\n\nAfter dropping off your items\, you are welcome to leave and return or join other swappers in line downstairs while mingling over coff ee + pastries. The swapping will begin at 12pm.\n\nTHE DOs:\n\n– Quality over quantity. You can bring up to 10 pieces\, but there is no minimum. B ring items you’d be excited to find!\n\n– Consider bringing your own reus able shopping bag to take your items home. Thanks for embracing the susta inability at the heart of clothing swaps.\n\nTHE DON’Ts:\n\n– Damaged gar ments. Kindly check your pieces for rips\, stains\, or missing pieces.\n\ n– Please stick to versatile and non-personalized pieces.
