  November 14\, 3-5pm\n\nArtist Statement\n\nEarly on\, I discovered that 
 music had a direct effect on how I drew. This show is a small sample of o
 ver 40 years of drawing musicians\, live\, in concert. As luck would have
  it\, one of my oldest friends is a successful music agent and was kind e
 nough to get me on-stage to draw many bands (ie. The Grateful Dead\, The 
 Allman Bros.\, James Taylor\, Eric Clapton\, Grover Washington Jr.\, Litt
 le Feat\, Dr. John\, to name a few). Often I’d get backstage afterwards\,
  show the band the drawings and get their autograph. I hope you enjoy the
